Segway Commercial recently showcased an AI e-bike and a suite of sustainability-focused technologies at Micromobility Europe 2025.
Segway AI e-bike
At the center of Segway’s showcase is the B200, the company’s first AI-powered e-bike. The bike is equipped with Segway Pilot Lite and Blind Spot Detection (BSD).
Segway Pilot Lite processes real-time sensor data to detect obstacles, while BSD alerts riders to hidden hazards using dashboard indicators and audio cues. Together, these features offer nearly 300 degrees of safety coverage, according to Segway.
Engineering for Environmental Sustainability
Segway Commercial also highlighted its commitment to sustainability. The company said it is increasing its use of recycled materials and implementing Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to measure product impact. A new direct recycling process transforms reclaimed aluminum and plastics into high-performance components that retain durability while lowering environmental costs, Segway said.
Segway Commercial has also introduced modular fleet architecture to improve efficiency and reduce waste, it said. Universal Component Interfaces enable retrofits and upgrades across different product series. This gives operators the flexibility to refresh older models instead of replacing them, Segway said.
