Amazon announced a partnership with Rivian almost three years ago to manufacture 100,000 electric delivery vans to be on the road by 2030. So far, thousands of these custom electric vans have been deployed in over 1,800 U.S. cities to deliver packages for the marketplace. The electric vans already in service have delivered over 260 million packages across the country, Amazon said. The company said it is continuing to expand its electric fleet and charging infrastructure to reduce carbon emissions.
