Dacia introduced its all-electric model vehicle, the Spring, which it said has made zero-emission mobility more accessible to a wide customer base. First launched in 2021, it was the third most-sold electric car in 2022 and 2023, the company said – in total, more than 140,000 Dacia Spring have been registered worldwide since its launch.
Spring has received many awards already, according to Davia. Its energy efficiency and carbon footprint were praised in 2022 when it was given the maximum five-star rating from the independent European organization Green NCAP. Dacia said its updated Spring model has an entirely renewed and more robust design, a more accessible 65 hp engine and is still efficient thanks to its weight.
Dacia said data collected via the vehicle’s onboard connected systems shows that the average daily trip made by Spring users covers 37 km (approx. 22.9 miles) at a speed of 37 km/h (approx. 22.9 MPH). In 75% of cases, cars are recharged at home, Dacia said.
