Sony Honda Mobility (SHM) has introduced the AFEELA 1 electric car, the first model under its AFEELA brand, at CES 2025. SHM plans to produce the AFEELA 1 in Ohio, with California sales beginning in 2025 and deliveries arriving by mid-2026. Starting at $89,900, the AFEELA 1 electric car includes a 3-year subscription for specific features. Customers can reserve the vehicle online with a refundable $200 deposit.

AFEELA 1 features Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that prioritize safety, a personal agent for seamless communication, and an entertainment-optimized cabin. Key Features of the AFEELA 1 Electric Car
AFEELA Intelligent Drive – The proprietary ADAS in the AFEELA 1 uses 40 sensors, including cameras and LiDAR, to monitor the environment and ensure safety. It delivers real-time updates on driving conditions via the vehicle’s display.
AFEELA Personal Agent – Drivers use voice commands to interact with the AFEELA Personal Agent, which provides personalized suggestions to enhance comfort and entertainment during travel.
Entertainment-Focused Cabin – SHM designed the cabin as a creative entertainment hub. Equipped with optimized sound systems and displays, it provides access to apps and content through partnerships with entertainment providers.

The AFEELA 1 electric car delivers handling and comfort with its 3D Motion Management System, SHM said. SHM focuses on sustainability by integrating plant-based and recycled materials into the design, ensuring both style and eco-friendliness.
Trims, Pricing, and Charging
AFEELA 1 offers two trims: Origin and Signature. The Signature trim includes premium features such as a rear entertainment system. The vehicle supports the Tesla Supercharging Network and achieves a driving range of up to 300 miles.
