Chevrolet‘s recently announced 2025 Silverado EV will be available later this year in three trims, offering various range, content, and price options for both retail and commercial customers, the company said.
According to Chevrolet, features of the 2025 Silverado EV include:
- Range: The 2025 Silverado EV Max Range model offers 492 miles, setting a new standard for electric trucks;
- Trims: Available trims include Work Truck (WT), LT, and RST, each featuring new technology, range, and design packages;
- Price: Starting MSRP is $57,095. Select retail models may qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit for eligible customers.
According to Chevrolet, both the LT with standard content and the LT premium package are priced so eligible customers may qualify for the federal tax credit. The LT offers the following standard content:
- 300 kW DC public fast charging;
- Standard 18-inch aluminum wheels, with accessory 22-inch wheels available later in the model year;
- Unique lower front fascia and upgraded exterior lighting, including illuminated front gold bowtie;
- Standard 17.7-inch-diagonal center infotainment screen paired with 11-inch-diagonal driver informational center;
- 12,500 lb towing capacity and 1,800 lb payload;
- Up to 765 lb-ft torque and 645 horsepower with Wide Open Watts mode;
- Available in six exterior colors, including trim-exclusive Blue Smoke Metallic;
- Standard multi-flex tailgate;
- 408 miles of range on a full charge.
Available later in the model year, Chevrolet said the premium package adds:
- Available multi-flex midgate, providing up to 10 feet and 10 inches of load floor when paired with the standard multi-flex tailgate;
- Available super cruise, a hands-free advanced driver assistance system offering hands-free trailering, active on about 750,000 miles of roads in the U.S. and Canada by the end of 2025;
- 22-inch machined-face aluminum wheels;
- 390 miles of range on a full charge.
The Max Range Silverado EV Work Truck offers 492 miles of range, according to the manufacturer. The Work Truck is available to commercial customers with a starting MSRP of $69,495 for the extended-range battery pack, offering 422 miles of range. The Silverado EV RST will offer two different battery pack options, providing a maximum range of 460 miles.
Chevrolet said it expects to ship 2025 Silverado EV WT, LT, and RST models to customers before the end of the year. Later in the model year, a Work Truck with the standard range battery pack will join the lineup for fleet and retail customers, with a starting MSRP of $57,095. The EPA-estimated range will be announced closer to the truck’s launch.
The Silverado EV is assembled with domestically and globally sourced parts at Factory Zero Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Michigan, Chevrolet said.
