Kia introduced the EV9 Nightfall Edition at the 2025 New York International Auto Show. The brand previously offered this styling package on models like the Seltos, Sportage, and Telluride. Now, the Nightfall Edition joins the EV9 lineup with unique design elements and bold colors.
The Nightfall Edition adds performance and style to the EV9, Kia’s three-row electric SUV.

Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition Adds Performance and Style
Kia offers the EV9 Nightfall Edition on the dual-motor Land AWD trim. Buyers can choose six- or seven-passenger configurations. The vehicle features 20-inch Gloss Black wheels with a dark Kia emblem and 275/50R-20 all-season tires. Kia also includes Gloss Black accents on the grille, skid plates, roof rails, mirrors, and door sills. A new color, Roadrider Brown, debuts exclusively on this trim.
Boosted Torque and Fast Charging
The Nightfall Edition includes a Boost function that increases torque from 443 lb.-ft to 516 lb.-ft. Dual motors deliver 379 horsepower, accelerating the EV9 from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Kia equips the vehicle for fast charging nationwide, offering access to Tesla Superchargers and Combined Charging System stations with an optional adapter.
Kia will assemble the EV9 Nightfall Edition at its West Point, Georgia plant. The model qualifies for the federal EV tax credit. Kia expects to begin sales in the second quarter of 2025.
