Orange EV has launched a 7.5-year warranty, providing extended coverage for battery, powertrain, and electric components. This new Orange EV 7.5-year warranty surpasses the industry norm of 1-2 years or 6,000 hours, offering protection for up to 30,000 hours of operation.
Since 2015, Orange EV trucks have operated commercially, covering nearly 8 million miles. Some trucks have exceeded 30,000 hours of service, demonstrating their durability and efficiency, Orange EV said.
Key Warranty Benefits
This extended warranty covers critical components, including the powertrain, motors, controllers, wire harnesses, cables, and key electric systems. By extending protection, Orange EV said it helps fleets reduce unexpected repair costs and streamline budgeting.
With this warranty, fleets experience improved operational efficiency by minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime. Additionally, the warranty enhances financial stability by extending depreciation life, increasing residual value, and offering transferability.
Orange EV Reinforces Commitment to Long-Term Value
“Delivering the highest quality terminal trucks has always been our priority,” said Kurt Neutgens, President and CTO of Orange EV. “Our new warranty isn’t just an extension of coverage, it’s a testament to our track record and a commitment to fleets that uptime, cost savings, and long-term performance are built into every truck.”
This extended coverage offers long-term savings, with an estimated $500,000+ in total savings over 10 years, Orange EV said.
