Subaru of America announced the pricing for the 2025 Subaru Solterra all-electric SUV. The 2025 model introduces a new trim level and a lower starting price. The 2025 Subaru Solterra will start at $38,495 MSRP, $6,500 less than the 2024 model. This is before applicable federal, state, and local tax credits. The vehicle is expected to arrive at retailers early next year.

Trim Levels and Tax Credits

The 2025 Subaru Solterra comes in Premium, Limited, Touring, and the new Touring Onyx Edition trim levels. Some consumers may qualify for federal tax credits up to $7,500.

New Touring Onyx Edition

The new Touring Onyx Edition features 20-inch aluminum-alloy gloss black wheels and black exterior and interior accents. This edition is priced at $45,495 MSRP.

Performance and Features

All Solterra models have Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and StarDrive Technology. These dual electric motors provide 249 lb.-ft. of torque. The Solterra includes Dual-Function X-MODE with Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes. The vehicle also offers 8.3 inches of ground clearance, Active Cornering Assist, and Vehicle Stability Control.

Battery and Charging

The Solterra’s lithium-ion battery pack offers a substantial daily range. It can charge from 10% to 80% in about 35 minutes. The Solterra supports Level 1 and Level 2 charging at home. It has access to numerous public charging stations and DC-fast charging.

Safety and Technology

All Subaru Solterras come with standard EyeSight driver-assist technologies. This includes Emergency Steering Assist, Pre-Collision Brake Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, and more. The 2024 Solterra earned a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Solterra offers a 12.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen for infotainment. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Limited and higher trim levels include a wireless phone charger and five USB charge points.
