Volvo Cars has unveiled the updated Volvo S90 plug-in hybrid, adding new technology and design upgrades. The exterior now reflects Volvo’s shift toward full electrification. Inside, the brand included new premium materials and enhanced features to improve the driving experience.
Volvo improved the infotainment system with a user interface designed for better interaction. The new 11.2-inch center display gives drivers easier access to controls. Volvo said it will send over-the-air software updates to enhance the car over time.

As a plug-in hybrid, the Volvo’s S90 delivers 80 kilometers (approx. 50 miles) of fully electric range per charge under the WLTP testing cycle. This allows many drivers to complete daily commutes with zero tailpipe emissions. Volvo also offers the S90 as a mild hybrid, which uses a four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
