Nature’s Miracle Holding announced it will purchase five electric vehicle trucks from ZO Motors North America to launch its mobile vertical farm project. The company plans to complete this purchase, financed through California’s electric vehicle rebate program, by Q2 2025. Nature’s Miracle will convert these EV trucks into mobile vertical farms for growing microgreens and herbs. It expects to receive up to 100 trucks by the end of 2025.
Los Angeles to Host First Mobile Vertical Farm Fleet
Nature’s Miracle will launch the mobile vertical farm initiative in the Los Angeles market in Q2 2025. Each electric truck, with an 11,000-pound payload and a 20-foot container-sized box, will feature a hydroponic growing system. Each unit can yield approximately 3,000 pounds of fresh produce per year—enough to feed up to 40 people. These mobile farms will cut water usage by up to 90% and deliver affordable vegetables to consumers and businesses.
Nature’s Miracle CEO Highlights Sustainability Goals
“We are extremely excited to launch our Mobile E-Farm model in partnership with ZO Motors. The Mobile E-Farm truck can revolutionize the way consumers and businesses obtain fresh and affordable supply of vegetable in their community,” said Tie “James” Li, Chairman and CEO. “We are also proud to utilize the environmentally friendly EV and hydroponic technologies to produce and deliver the fresh micro green products in Southern California.”
