The EV Charging Summit & Expo will feature a keynote panel titled “The Road to Electrification: Market-Driven Innovation in EV Charging Expansion.” The session, scheduled for March 26, from 9:15-10:00 a.m., will explore how market dynamics are shaping EV charging expansion and influencing infrastructure growth.
Rising Demand for EV Charging Expansion
EV sales projected to reach 30% of new U.S. car purchases by 2030. The global heavy-duty electric truck market is also growing at 20.6% annually. Sustainable transportation continues to transform the automotive and energy sectors. While federal incentives helped early adoption, consumer demand and economic drivers now fuel the next wave of EV charging expansion.
“It is increasingly important to focus on the economic drivers for battery electric vehicle (BEV) adoption,” said Jason Kazmar, director, Mobility Solutions, International Motors. “By considering all the factors that influence total cost of ownership, we can identify the specific use-cases and geographies that best support BEV operations and economics and will be able to continue to increase BEV adoption.”
Keynote Panel Tackles EV Infrastructure Challenges
The panel will bring together industry leaders to discuss scaling charging networks, improving infrastructure, and driving innovation. Experts will explore how collaboration can meet consumer demand, advance technology, and ensure the long-term success of electrification.
Panel Moderator:
- Michael E. Murphy, CEO, American EV Jobs Alliance
Panelists:
- Emily Durham, Vice President Legal & Government Affairs, Electrify America;
- Jason Kazmar, Director of Mobility Solutions, International Motors, LLC;
- Matthew Krukin, Global Head of Ford Pro Software and Charging Solutions, Ford;
- Nicholas Keeling, Director, Global Charging Product Engineering, Rivian.
