Gotion revealed six major additions to its energy product lineup. At a recent event, it showcased advancements for electric vehicle range, solid-state battery design, ultra-fast charging, and large-scale energy storage. The Gotion battery technology lineup includes the GEMSTONE all-solid-state battery, G-Yuan quasi-solid-state battery, the 12-year G-Series, the Grid Q 20MWh storage system, Astroinno Gen-2, and Axtrem, an AI-powered industrial agent.
Gotion Battery Technology
GEMSTONE All-Solid-State Battery
First introduced in 2024, the GEMSTONE all-solid-state battery has entered pre-production. Its pilot line has achieved a 90% yield rate, Gotion said. The latest version offers a 60% boost in sulfide electrolyte ion conductivity and 150% higher cell capacity.
Stacking pressure pre-tension has been reduced by 90%, making assembly more efficient. The battery has passed extensive safety tests and is now undergoing road testing.
G-Yuan Battery
The G-Yuan quasi-solid-state battery delivers an energy density of 300Wh/kg. It supports EV ranges over 1,000 kilometers (approx. 620 miles) and uses adaptive solid-solid interface tech for ion transport stability.
The battery has passed nail penetration safety tests and is being road tested in prototype vehicles. A 12GWh production line is now under construction.
G-Series Battery
Designed for trucks, the G-Series features a 116kWh battery box and 175Wh/kg energy density. It offers zero decay for 3,000 cycles and supports up to 1.2 million kilometers (approx. 750,000 miles) of use.
It performs across a wide temperature range and supports megawatt-level fast charging. The cycle life reaches 12 years or 10,000 cycles.
Grid Q
The Grid Q is the world’s first 20MWh-per-unit energy storage system. It includes Air+Liquid hybrid cooling and a modular design for space savings.
Its seven-level safety framework and AI-based operation enhance reliability, according to Gotion. The unit has a design life of 25 years.
Astroinno Gen-2
This LMFP battery charges in 10 minutes and reaches 240Wh/kg energy density. It retains 93% of its capacity at -20°C and prevents thermal propagation at the PACK level.
The battery enables 850 km (approx. 530 miles) of range for BEVs and up to 1,500 km (approx. 930 miles) for REEVs.
Axtrem AI
Gotion also introduced Axtrem, an industrial AI agent. It autonomously learns, adapts, and enhances production yield, cost control, and efficiency, the company said. Axtrem aims to boost smart manufacturing across all future product lines.
