Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has expanded the Porsche Charging Service by integrating more than 97,000 additional charging stations through ChargePoint. This expansion brings the total number of charging stations accessible to Porsche customers in the United States to 102,000.
“This is a significant milestone for Porsche and the electric vehicle journey,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA. “We know flexibility and choice are important. We are dedicated to giving customers the seamless charging experience they expect.”
Expanded Porsche Charging Service Access Through the App
Customers enrolled in the inclusive period of the Porsche Charging Service, or those subscribed to the Premium plan, can now access ChargePoint and its roaming partner networks via the My Porsche app. Those using the Base plan will receive access later this summer.
The My Porsche app allows drivers to locate, activate, and pay at most J1772 and CCS1-compatible charging stations.
Broader Network Integration Enhances Convenience
This expansion builds upon Porsche’s existing integration with Electrify America. It now includes access to charging networks within the ChargePoint roaming ecosystem. Through the My Porsche app, Porsche EV customers can use ChargePoint, EV Connect, EVgo, Flo, EvGateway, and Ionna networks.
For a complete list of supported networks and additional information, customers can consult the My Porsche app or visit the official Porsche website.
