Reliant and GM Energy have introduced a new electricity plan aimed at Chevrolet electric vehicle (EV) owners, which will provide Chevrolet EV drivers who enroll in the new Reliant Free Charge Nights plan free nighttime charging. More than 150 Chevrolet dealerships across Texas can now offer the plan to EV drivers upon vehicle purchase. The plan is powered by 100% renewable energy through the purchase of renewable energy certificates (RECs) equal to the customer’s electricity usage, the companies said.
