Ample collaborated with Mitsubishi Fuso to implement a solution tailored for last-mile delivery fleets transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) – modular battery swapping for electric trucks. This partnership will facilitate the deployment of Mitsubishi Fuso electric trucks powered by Ample’s modular battery-swapping technology.

The initial rollout will feature Mitsubishi Fuso’s latest all-electric FUSO eCanter, scheduled to commence in Japan this winter. Further announcements are forthcoming, highlighting additional companies that will be adopting the eCanter to electrify their respective fleets. Initially catering to urban driving profiles, Ample said Mitsubushi’s eCanter will offer a range spanning from 62 to 200 miles, with future plans to expand its capabilities to accommodate various driving needs.
